Art of the Day! (2/3/25)

 

Meet the Angel Deer! This was a fun drawing I made back in early January of an alien creature that has evolved on an extremely low gravity planet. It originally started as a doodle, but then it turned into a full fledged artpiece! Angel deer are fiercely competitive and territorial creatures, and while their large horn is sometimes used for sparring, it is mainly used as a resonator, similar to a hornbill's casque. This is because sound has a tougher time traveling in low-gravity environments. Angel deer need to be loud to declare their control over a territory!
